Two flamingos facing each other over a lotus pond, necks curved into almost a heart, standing in water the colour of sea glass. Pink lilies float around their legs and jungle foliage closes the top of the frame.
The birds are broad and pleasing, four pinks and big shapes. The water is the work — lily pads, reflections and ripples broken into hundreds of small regions across five greens and blues.
