A pink patisserie with a scalloped awning and a window full of cakes: tiered stands of pastel macarons, tarts and cream slices, with a little marble table and two chairs on the pavement outside.
The building gives you large soft pink planes that fill fast. The window display is the opposite — forty-odd individual cakes, each two or three tiny regions. Sweet in both senses of the word.
DIFFICULTY 719 numbered regions, one 30-colour palette. Under 500 is a quiet evening; over 900 is a long one. This page is an evening.
